Rod is the 'artist in residence' of the Barossa Valley in South Australia & many famous wine labels bare his unmistakable creations. Though he 'never travels' one of his favourite passtimes, besides keeping his notorious palate in training, involves a vintage Austin Healey - the envy of the Valley. Since commencing painting full time in 1970 Rod Schubert has held over 30 one man exhibitions in Australia as well as a one man show in Australia House London. He has participated in over 80 group exhibitions in Australia and Overseas including Galeri Petronas – Kuala Lumpur and the Mall Gallery London.
