Born in Mazieres en Gatine, France in 1933, Serge Clément graduated with honours from L’Ecole des Arts Appliqués in Paris. His first solo show was in Paris in 1960, and he has had numerous solo exhibitions with Galerie Beaubourg in Paris, and other galleries in France, Italy and the United States. During the 1960s and 1970s, he worked for major publishers and advertising companies and won the coveted “City of Paris” award several times. He has since been making collaborative art with his partner Marina Kamena.
